Engelsk intern eksamen læreruddannelsen

Opgaven handler om engelsk som lingua franca (fællessprog).

Opgaven er en testeksamen som vi skulle skrive. En såkaldt Mock exam. Vi fik stillet til opgave at skrive hvordan vi håber på det engelske sprog udvikler sig i de kommende år.

Dette skulle skrives til et lærermagasin, som kun lærere læste. Vi skulle inddrage min. 3 tekster fra tekstsamlingen fra eksamenssættet. Det er hvad opgave A gik ud på. Kravene var imellem 5200 - 6000 tegn med mellemrum.

Opgave C (den sidste af opgaverne, der er kun 2) Beskriver jeg hvad jeg har gjort for at gøre artiklen god. Sektioner, linjeafstand og provokerende postulater. Det er ikke en officiel eksamensopgave, men en man bruger internt på mit seminarie.

Task A

English - Europe's lingua franca

“Despite the linguistic richness of the European Union (EU), and the eleven languages given official status (Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish), three languages dominate – English, French and German . “
As an English teacher in Denmark I am pleased that English is one of the dominant languages, but how has it developed to be a lingua franca? If I look upon the two other nations France and Germany both have been dominant on the warpath like England – is this a coincidence?

We as English teachers have a common goal; to spread our passion and interest to everyone. This starts in school and I am sure we all do our best to enlighten our students with our insight into language.

Task C

I have written this article to be included in an international teacher magazine. I have done my best to try and describe, what development I want the English language to continue undergoing in the future. In my preparation I have read a lot of texts and articles about the English language and about lingua franca. As you can in footnotes and through my “task A) especially Henry Widdowson , “The ownership of English”, ”Why English” and “The changing role of English in Europe” by Jennifer Jenkins caught my interest.
In terms of trying to adapt to the communicative situation (an article), I have thought a lot about the layout and to tried to create a passion in the reader to read... Køb adgang for at læse mere
